Colombia

So fall is now here, and the usual warm LA weather is pretty much gone. In its place we've been left with a grayish, rainy weather that makes you want to stay in bed all day and watch movie after movie with a few TV episodes in between. This climate reminds me of home. I'm from Bogota, the capital city of Colombia, and contrary to what everyone thinks, Bogota is cold. Yes, it is near the equator, so it should be hot and tropical, but it is also 2,600 meters above the sea level (8,530.1837 ft for US readers :). I should be used to it, but I'm not.

In memory of warmer days, here's me enjoying the sun with my Colombian hat...
